Black Plum (Wu Mei) Three-Bean Drink is a modified version combining two classic 中医 remedies: Bian Que’s Three-Bean Decoction and Wu Mei Sugar Soup.

Bian Que’s Three-Bean Decoction, recorded in the Compendium of Materia Medica, combines black beans, mung beans, and soybeans.

  • Black beans: Strengthen the spleen and kidneys

  • Mung beans: Clear heat and promote urination

  • Soybeans: Boost spleen function and replenish Qi
This combination gently regulates the digestive system to clear internal false fire caused by deficiency.

Wu Mei Sugar Soup, derived from Circular Movement in Ancient Chinese Medicine, is known for addressing heat-related symptoms like fatigue and fever by replenishing body fluids and relieving internal heat dryness.

🌿Wu Mei (Black Plum) has a sour taste that helps to restrain and redirect floating deficiency fire, regulates liver Qi, and supports the smooth flow of energy throughout the body. When combined with the three beans, it further helps to balance the middle burner (spleen and stomach) and clear false fire.

In hot summer weather, the body tends to lose fluids easily, leading to symptoms like thirst, sore throat, internal heat, or dry skin.
This Wu Mei Three-Bean Drink is a gentle and effective way to cool down and rebalance your body.
